THE SECRET OF LASTING IMPACT

SCRIPTURE: Having therefore obtained help of God, I continue unto this day, witnessing both to small and great, saying none other things than those which the prophets and Moses did say should come: – Acts 26:22.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: God’s purpose for his children is continuity of impact and assignment

God reserves the best for His children. His purpose for His children is continuity of impact and assignment. He wants us to live a life of consistent and continual relevance and impact. It is not the will of God for us to be up today and down tomorrow or to be a fire brand Christian today and a water brand tomorrow. Not at all!
There are many people who were burning for God yesterday, but are spiritually lukewarm today; they were spiritually renowned yesterday, but are spiritually unknown today. In fact, their addresses can no longer be traced. There were billionaires that we heard about in those days but today, no one is talking about them anymore. They have fizzled out. This is not the will of God for His children.

I remember seeing a former high ranking government official on a commercial motorcycle. In his days in the office many years ago, you could not count the number of cars in his house. But here was the same man boarding a commercial motorcycle. This is not the purpose of God for His children.

I prophesy on you today that your story will not be like this. Wherever God takes you to, you will not drop in Jesus’ Name. In your lifetime, you cannot see a better yesterday in the Name of Jesus.

Remember this: God’s purpose for His children is continuity of impact and assignment.

ASSIGNMENT(S):
1. Ask God to make you last in impact and fire
2. Make demands on the help of God to outlive your generation in impact

PRAYER: O LORD, help me to outlive my generation in impact and exploit. I make demand on Your Help on my life, in Jesus’ Name.
