THE CONTENT OF GOD’S HELP
SCRIPTURE: God is our refuge and strength, a present help in
trouble. Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though
the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; – Psalms 46:1-2
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: It is the help of God that will make
the sword of the witch or the bullets of the terrorist not to kill you.
The
Help of God is needed in order to prevail in life. This is because the Help of
God is more reliable, dependable, and durable than the help of man. A man can
help you today and changes his mind tomorrow; he can fail or die, but God
cannot. When God decides to help you, you can go to sleep.
What
then does the Help of God offer? What is the content of God’s help?
1. The Help of God is the antidote or cure for the fears of
life: According to our anchor Scripture, even though the earth be
removed and everything scatters, we will not be afraid. This is because the
Help of God is the antidote for the fears of life. The help of God is the
reason why your fears will not consume you. There is nothing you fear that
cannot be tackled by His help.
2. The Help of God is key to deliverance from danger and
battle: Moses called one of his sons Eliezer. That means the God of
my help (Exodus 18:4). He gave him that name because God delivered him from the
sword of Pharaoh. It is the help of God that will make the sword of the witch
or the bullets of the terrorists not to kill you.
Today,
I prophesy the help of God upon your life and Destiny, in Jesus’ Name.
Remember this: It is the help of God that will make the
sword of the witch or the bullets of the terrorist not to kill you.
ASSIGNMENT(S):
1.
Ask God to grant you His Help.
2.
Put your hope in the Help of the LORD.
PRAYER: O LORD, I ask for your Help to envelope my life. Let it
deliver me from every fear and battle of my life, in Jesus’ Name.
