THE CURRENCY FOR TRANSFORMATION
SCRIPTURE: Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, – Revelation 1:3
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: The footsteps you take determine your outcome in life.
It has been established in our anchor Scripture that the Word of God is the custodian of the blessing of the LORD. It is the conduit of the Blessing of God. The way electric cables serve as conductors of electricity, is the same way the Word of God is a conductor of the Blessing of God. So, to be connected to the Word is to be blessed because God uses Words to bless. When He called Abraham (a nonentity), and turned him into a celebrity, the currency for that transformation was His WORD. The Word of God is the transformer of lives.
Now, how does the Word usher us into the Blessing?
The Word of God reveals to us the steps of the blessed (Hebrews. 6:12).
The Scriptures shows us people who served God faithfully and inherited the promises; they could not end empty-handed. It shows us the things Abraham did that transformed him from a nonentity into a celebrity.
The footsteps you take determine your outcome in life. It is not possible to follow the footsteps of giants and remain a dwarf. If you can identify and follow the footsteps of giants in the Scripture, you will have their results.
Remember this: The footsteps you take determine your outcome in life.
ASSIGNMENT (S):
1. Live on the Word of God.
2. Look forward to identifying and carrying out action steps whenever you study the Word of God.
3. Expect blessings from the Word of God each time you read it.
