THE MYSTERY OF FAITH
SCRIPTURE: Holding the mystery of the faith in a pure conscience. – 1 Timothy 3:9
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Until you understand faith, you live a life without meaning.
The understanding of faith is so complicated to many people and so, it must be understood.
Now, why is it important to know the mystery of faith? This is crucial because it is the mystery of faith that gives meaning to life. (Galatians 3:11b).
You see, everything in life is by faith. Until you understand faith, you live a life without meaning. It is those who know the mystery of faith that will make history in life (Hebrews 11).
We are looking at one of the definitions of faith.
Faith is the condition of faithfulness to scriptural instructions or injunctions. In order to experience the faithfulness of God to His promises, do whatever He says you should do.
Facts to note about faith:
1. The Word of God is the most authentic foundation for faith. (Romans 10: 17). Any step a person wants to take in life can only be a step of faith when it is solidly founded on the Word of God.
2. Faith is a creative force that determines the manifestation of new things in the life of a person (Hebrews 11:3). The limit of your faith determines the degree of things you experience in your life.
Remember this: Until you understand faith, you live a life without meaning.
ASSIGNMENT (S):
1. Live on the Word of God daily.
2. Obey whatever God says.
PRAYER: O LORD, give me the grace to trust and obey You all the days of my life, in Jesus’ Name.
