AUTHORITY – THE KEY TO ATTRACTING THE FAVOUR OF GOD
SCRIPTURE: And Saul sent to Jesse, saying, Let David, I pray thee, stand before me; for he hath found favour in my sight. – 1 Samuel 16:22
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: If you are an authority in your field, you do not struggle to be favoured.
It is established that favour moves in the direction of authority. When authority is in place, the favour of God cannot be denied.
Considering the life of David, it is easy to see the link between authority and favour. David was an authority in the realm of song writing and music ministration. His mastery of that realm made him to have effortless access (favour) to the palace of King Saul. The king looked for him. You see, when you are an authority, when you excel and stand out, what other people look for looks for you.
A star mechanic does not struggle to get customers. An efficient medical doctor does not struggle to get patients. A top-ranking and renowned lawyer does not struggle for clients; in fact, the challenge would be either he is over busy or over booked. Such a professional will often have to reschedule his appointments with clients and may even have to maintain a long list of appointments. That is how it is with people who are authorities in their fields.
If you are an authority in your field, you do not struggle to be favoured; in fact, favour becomes natural and from this favour, you can proceed to achieve other things that you need to achieve in your life.
I prophesy to you today, the grace to be an authority, the grace to excel, the grace to rise to the top is released on you in the name of Jesus Christ.
Remember this: If you are an authority in your field, you do not struggle to be favoured.
