LIVING TO MANIFEST EXCELLENCE LIKE GOD

OVERVIEW
SCRIPTURE: O Lord our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth! Who hast set thy glory above the heavens. – Psalms 8:1

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Existence below average is a transgression.

Our God is an excellent God. One of His attributes is excellence. The Word of God confirms this in Genesis 1:31, when God finished the creation of heaven and earth and everything in it, the Bible says, “And God saw everything that he had made, and, behold, it was very good…”

Mediocrity is not in the gene of God. Since our nature is that of God, our Father, mediocrity is an abomination to our existence; existing below average is a transgression.

It is not the will of God for us to live like beggars. Living a desolate, pitiable and frustrated life is abominable to our association with the Almighty.

You have a status in God. Your true identity was defined in Exodus 19:5, “…ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people…”

What is a treasure? It is a valuable piece of commodity, a jewel of inestimable worth, a priceless pearl of unquantifiable value. You are a peculiar treasure, not a man under pressure, struggling or frustrated.

Beloved, arm yourself with this mentality and you will see God fulfilling His Word concerning you.

Remember this: Existence below average is a transgression.

PRAISE FOR ACCELERATION AND MULTIPLICATION

OVERVIEW
SCRIPTURE:  Let everything that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord. –  Psalm 150:6

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: If you praise God from where you are, the unction for acceleration is released to move you to where you need to be.

One of the evidences of true living is praising God. Praising God confirms that we have the breath of life and are living.

Faith praises God to deny the enemy victory in times of conflict. When Paul and Silas praised God in the prison, they deliberately made the devil know that he had not won the battle (Acts 16:25).

When you praise God in the midst of conflict or when the devil expects you to cry, you are letting the devil know that he does not have the final say in your life.

When Jesus praised God for five loaves of bread, there was an unction for acceleration and multiplication that was manifested (Mark 6:41). Therefore, praise releases the unction for acceleration and multiplication. If you praise God from where you are, the unction for acceleration is released to move you to where you need to be. If you praise God for what you have, the unction to multiply it is also released.

But if you fail to praise God for where you are and what you have, you will be stagnated. Appreciate God for what you have and what He has already done.

Remember this: If you praise God from where you are, the unction for acceleration is released to move you to where you need to be.

TAKING DELIVERY OF THE MORNING

Overview
SCRIPTURE:  And all the people came early in the morning to him in the temple, for to hear him. – Luke 21:38

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: To oversleep in the morning is to miss the spiritual manna for the day.

It is clear from our anchor scripture that people gathered early in the morning in the temple to hear God’s Word from our LORD Jesus Christ. The morning season is critical to receiving Divine instructions. The children of Israel also gathered manna every morning (Exodus 16:21).

The morning season, therefore, is the time for spiritual manna. The morning time is when insight from the Word of God is deepest. Therefore, to oversleep in the morning is to miss the spiritual manna for the day.

In order to access instructions in the morning, treasure God’s Word by studying your Bible early in the morning. Ask God to baptize you with a fresh hunger for His Word. Make up your mind to study God’s Word diligently in the morning hours of the day.

There are many benefits of being in touch with God’s Word, one of which is that God’s Word purifies our lives constantly (John 15:3).

Beloved, ensure that you do not start your day without studying God’s Word. As you do this, you connect with the insight of the morning and no devil can deny your impact in the day.

Remember this: To oversleep in the morning is to miss the spiritual manna for the day.

THE QUALITY OF THOUGHT AND THE OUTCOME OF LIFE

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: A blank mind is the reason for a blank life.

It is an established fact that the quality of a person’s life is determined by the quality of his thoughts. Quality of thought determines quality of life and the limit of thought is what defines the limit of life. This means that the deeper your thought, the better your life.  What you mind affects how you end in life.

The direction of your thought determines the direction of your life. A man’s life usually follows the direction of his thought. Hence, a negative thought pattern breeds a negative life and positive thought pattern enhances positive life. A blank mind, therefore, is the reason for a blank life. When the heart is empty, life is also empty.

Life is a gift and the best way to use any gift is for the pleasure of the Giver. As a child of God, fill your mind with uplifting thoughts that can enhance the quality of your life so you can give pleasure and glory to your Maker with your existence on earth.

MANIFESTING AUTHORITY

OVERVIEW
SCRIPTURE: And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so. – Genesis 1:24

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: When the people of God exist below their status in God, it is an abomination.

God lives naturally in the realm of supremacy. All authority in heaven and on earth belongs to Him.

Since we were created in the image of God, we also need authority to be like God.

Authority is needed for the reproduction of God’s character and nature in His people.

The law of creation says that everything reproduces after its kind (Genesis 1:11-12). Therefore, man has no choice but to manifest authority and dominion because man was created in God’s image.

When the people of God exist below their status in life, it is an abomination to creation. Just as a child must resemble any of the parents, we must also resemble God in character. The purpose of authority is for man to reproduce the character and nature of His Maker. The world needs to be brought to know God; they cannot see God, but when they see you, they ought to see God in you.

Authority is needed in order to make impact in life. When you struggle in life, people may not listen to you, but when you are successful, they will listen. Make up your mind today to manifest God’s authority.

TOPIC: A PATHWAY TO SUCCESS IN LIFE

SCRIPTURE: It is a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord and to sing praises unto thy Name oh Most High. – Psalm 92:1

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Focus on God is key to true success in life.
From our anchor scripture, we understand that it is a good thing to give thanks to God. This means that the way of praise is the escape route from evil. If good is your desire, then praise is the channel. If you are tired of the bad agenda of the enemy around you, praise will make you escape it.
The goodness of praise lies in the fact that the lifestyle of praise keeps a man focused on God. While others focus their attentions on other things, a praise worshipper has his focus on God. In life, your focus determines your future; therefore, if God is your focus, He will direct your future aright.

The difference between praise and worry is that praise focuses on God while worry focuses on challenges. To focus on your challenges is to multiply them. Focusing on things that bother you only opens you up to more of those things. Praise and worship keeps your focus on God and focus on God equals focus on good. Focus on God is key to true success in life.

TOPIC: PASSIONATE LOVE FOR GOD

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: The level of your love for God is what determines how far He can take you.

Loving God is an indispensable attribute in the life of everyone who desires to make heaven. You cannot make heaven if the love of God is not real in your life. To love God is to become great in life but to dishonour God is to end as a liability on earth.

Now, what does it mean to love God?

A heart that loves God pants and yearns for Him. To love God means to put God above everything and everybody. David was a young man who loved God to the point of confronting and killing a war giant (Goliath) as a teenager. The level of your love for God is what determines how far God can take you.

There are many people who are very cold towards God; nothing about God moves them, but when you talk about politics, a new dress, a new car, a husband or wife, they come alive and become active.

Beloved, do you really love and obey God from your heart? Does your attitude towards God confirm your interest and value for Him?

Make up your mind to love God because not to love God is to rust in life.

THE PROOF OF GENUINE LOVE

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: If you cannot point to anyone you are raising; then, it is possible that your life is wasting.

It has been established that our God is a God of love; He is love personified (1 John 4:8) and He created us in His image of love (Genesis 1:26). But the devil always strives to rob us of the love nature of God by replacing God’s love with hatred in our hearts.

The nature of the devil is the nature of hatred, but people of character and godliness are filled with God’s love.

What are the proofs of genuine love?
1. Living with others in mind.
A person who loves his neighbour lives with the consciousness of how his action can impact on others; he lives to protect the wellbeing and interests of others.

2. Investing in people.
Love brings the best out of people. Love raises people. If you cannot point to anyone you are raising; then, it is possible that your life is wasting.

3. Not given to envy and jealousy.
One who loves his neighbour does not live in bitterness and ‘unforgiveness’.

4. Celebrating people.
Love celebrates other people. The process of celebrating people is the process of developing genuine interest in the lives of others.

THE PURPOSE OF MIRACLES

OVERVIEW
SCRIPTURE:  And when they had this done, they inclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net brake. – Luke 5:6

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Every miracle and manifestation of God in your life is meant to draw you closer to God.

God has a purpose for giving you a breakthrough in life. There is a reason for every miracle of healing, prosperity or blessing God causes to happen in your life.

What then is the purpose of miracles?

Every miracle and manifestation of God in your life is meant to draw you closer to God. This is why it is dangerous for people to stop praying or leave the Church immediately God prospers them or changes their stories. When God changes your life, you should be more appreciative of Him. Miracles should turn you into a stronger believer and make you to be more on fire for God. When miracles happen, they are supposed to increase your love for God and service to Him.

In Luke 5:10-11, Simon and other disciples toiled all night and caught nothing. When Jesus met them, He asked Simon Peter to cast his net to the right hand side and when he did this, he caught multitude of fishes. Peter’s response to this miracle was that he abandoned everything and followed Jesus.

Beloved, ensure that you are drawn more to God when He does His miracles in your life.

THE CURES FOR THE FEARS OF LIFE

OVERVIEW
SCRIPTURE: For the thing which I greatly feared is come upon me, and that which I was afraid of is come unto me. – Job 3:25

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Every condition of failure answers to the therapy of the Word of God.

Fear is one potent weapon of destruction in the hands of the devil. When the devil wants to afflict someone with a particular negative condition, he brings that thing first in the form of fear. What a man fears many times becomes his undoing. That is why Job said that the things he feared came upon him (Job 3:25).

Specifically, the fear of failure is a dangerous form of fear satan uses to torment people.

At the marriage in Cana of Galilee, the occasion almost failed because the wine finished. But that failure was abated because the Presence and Word of God (our Lord Jesus Christ) was there. Every condition of failure answers to the therapy of the Word of God. There is a Word of God therapy for marital, business, ministry, career or relationship failure.

When you have the Presence and Word of God in your life, you do not have to fear mockery and shame.

Beloved, I do not know what is about to fail in your life, but if the Word of God is with you, your success is guaranteed.

THE ALL-SUFFICIENT PRESENCE OF GOD

OVERVIEW
SCRIPTURE: And when they wanted wine, the mother of Jesus saith unto him, They have no wine. – John 2:3

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Anywhere Jesus is present, nothing is permitted to finish

There are many things in life that people run after to possess. Many people run after the possession of money and other material resources while others run after the acquisition of academic certificates and degrees. There is still another group of people whose major passion is sports and fashion.

Amidst all these cravings in the hearts of men, the possession of the Presence and Word of God is the greatest possession in life. You may not be gifted or talented like others, but if you have the Presence and Word of God, you can never be empty-handed in life.

The truth is, anywhere Jesus is present, nothing is permitted to finish. That was why the wine that finished at the wedding in Cana of Galilee was miraculously restored.
There is no challenge in life to fear if you do not lack the Presence of God. On the other hand, you have everything to fear if God is absent in your life.

One of the things Jesus’ Presence handled in the marriage at Cana of Galilee was the fear of insufficiency. If God’s Presence is with you, you do not need to fear insufficiency.

Remember this: Anywhere Jesus is present, nothing is permitted to finish.

THE BLESSING OF THE FAITHFUL

OVERVIEW
SCRIPTURE: Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. – Ecclesiastes 12:13.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: A dependable and reliable man cannot escape being blessed.

The Will of God for His people is to exist in the Blessing. In the beginning, God pronounced the Blessing on man (Genesis 1:29). Abraham, Isaac and Jacob were extra-ordinarily blessed to the extent that even in the midst of scarcity, their prosperity was not affected. That is the way God wants us to live. We are to exist in the realm of the blessing in such a way that no economic meltdown can affect us.

Now, what do you need to do in order to get the covenant Blessing of God?
You need to be faithful!

Proverbs 28:20 says, ‘A faithful man shall abound with blessings...’
When a man is faithful, he will be blessed. To be faithful means to be dependable; it is letting God, your boss, your pastor, your parents, etc., depend on you without any sense of doubt.

A dependable and reliable man cannot escape being blessed.

Beloved, be faithful to God, man, your spouse, your boss, your employer, etc., and you will never escape the blessing, in Jesus’ Name.

Remember this: A dependable and reliable man cannot escape being blessed.

THE SECRET OF THE BLESSING

OVERVIEW
SCRIPTURE: Honour the LORD with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase: So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine. – Proverbs 3:9-10.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Honouring God with your first fruit offering confirms that God is first in your life.

One of the secrets of the blessing is the first fruit giving. It is the first harvest or the first increase that you get from your resources or endeavours. For instance, if you secure a new job and you are being placed on a monthly salary, your first salary is called the first fruit. It is to be given to God.

This is another example of first fruit: If you have been on a particular salary scale for a while and there is an increase; that increase that was added to your previous salary is your first fruit; it is to be given to God.

UNDEFILED GARMENT

OVERVIEW
SCRIPTURE:  Let your garment be always white and let your head lack no ointment. – Ecclesiastes 9:8.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Iniquity is a foundation for calamity.

It has been confirmed that one of the channels through which the Power of God flows is a clear conscience or an undefiled garment. Anywhere the conscience is clear and garments are undefiled, the Power of God flows. Iniquity, on the other hand, is a foundation for calamity.

From our anchor scripture, we understand that whenever the garment is white, the head must be anointed with oil.  So, the purity of your garment provokes the flow of oil and when the oil is on your head, you are untouchable by the enemy. This is why the Bible says, Touch not my anointed and do my prophet no harm (Psalm 105:15).

Iniquity increases a man’s vulnerability. For instance, when you take money that is not yours, defile your heart with impurity or lie in order to cheat and deceive others; you position your life for disaster.

The Bible says in Zechariah 3:1-3, that Satan resisted Joshua, the high priest because he wore a filthy garment. So, unrighteousness invites satanic resistance.

Beloved, if you do not want the forces of darkness to ruin your life, you must embrace a lifestyle of purity, character and integrity.

SPIRITUAL VIOLENCE

OVERVIEW
SCRIPTURE: And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force. – Matthew 11:12

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Your level of violence determines the degree of your victory.

Spiritual violence is very critical to total victory in life. This is because only the violent can succeed in life; only the violent can seize life. To be gentle in life is to be defeated.

Now, why do you need violence?

You need violence because there are demons and witches who always try to resist the possession of what is yours. God told the Israelites in Deuteronomy 2:24 to contend with the enemies in battle in order to possess the lands He had given them. This means that the Israelites could not possess their possession without contending with their enemies; and contention requires the engagement of the spirit of violence.

The spirit of violence refers to the aggressive spirit of a fighter; it is the refusal to give in to defeat or to make the devil feel like he is a winner. It is remaining in the fight until your healing, fruit of the womb, miracle or anointing arrives.

Never give up!

DESPERATE HUNGER FOR GOD

OVERVIEW
SCRIPTURE: And it came to pass, that, as the people pressed upon him to hear the word of God, he stood by the lake of Gennesaret. – Luke 5:1

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Where hunger is lacking, life is empty.
   
From our anchor Scripture, the Bible makes it clear that people pressed upon Jesus to hear the Word of God. While He was teaching, there was a great multitude of people who were hungry for God’s Word. It was not the need for miracles of healing, financial provision or food that brought them to Jesus but desperate hunger to hear God’s Word.

It is important to know that God does not ignore the desires of the desperate. When a man or woman is hungry for God, God never undermines that hunger (Matthew 5:6).

Your level of hunger for God, therefore, determines your degree of satisfaction in God. We are not satisfied with God at the same rate because our levels of hunger differ. When men are deficient in their hunger for God, they become spiritually frustrated. Many Christians are spiritually frustrated because they lack the hunger for God.

Psalm 81:10 says, ‘I am the Lord thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt: open thy mouth wide and I will fill it.’

Where hunger is lacking, life is empty.

VALUE: THE KEY TO ACCESSING GOD’S PRESENCE

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: The price you are willing to pay to maintain a relationship with God determines the measure of His Presence you will carry.

God is present where He is valued, respected and celebrated. He is present where He is needed. It is important to note that Jesus was not invited to the wedding at Cana of Galilee to perform a miracle; instead, He was valued so much that the people believed that the occasion could not be held successfully without Him.

God is present where He is pursued. There are, however, many miracle seekers but very few God seekers.

Beloved, what do you value the most in your life? Many of us are very particular about what we wear, our hairstyles, cars, etc. I wish we can place such level of value on God in our lives.

The truth is that the value you place on something can be communicated by the price you are ready to offer for it. For example, when a man loves and wants to marry a woman, he is ready to pay the bride-price and fulfil the necessary conditions, in order to marry her.

THE CONSCIOUSNESS OF DIVINITY

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Prayerlessness increases the distance between God and man.

The lack of the consciousness of God is the surest way of losing out in life. Many people live daily without any thought of God. This is why many are far from God (James 4:8).

One of the ways of being conscious of Divine Presence around your life is engaging in persistent prayers.

Prayerfulness impacts the consciousness of Divinity. In 1 Kings 17:1, Elijah said, ‘…before God whom I stand, there shall be no rain or dew….’ He was a man of prayer, so he had a stand with God. Prayerfulness makes a person to live in the consciousness of the nearness of God. When you are conscious that God is near, it impacts caution to the way you live your life.

On the other hand, prayerlessness makes a man to be far from God. Prayerlessness is a confirmation of breakdown in communication. When the consciousness of God is lacking, there is recklessness in operation.

To maintain a consciousness of God through prayer, one needs to maintain a clear conscience that is devoid of offence before God and man (James 5:16).

Beloved, determine to stay away from every form of impurity so as to attract God to yourself.

SEEKING GOD FROM THE HEART

OVERVIEW
SCRIPTURE: But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. – Matthew 6:33.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: If you seek God for who He is, He will show you His Hand.

We are admonished from our anchor scripture to seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness. This is the key to getting other good things in life.

Why is it important to seek God wholeheartedly? Those who look for things never come to the end of struggles in life but those who look for God do not struggle for things. There are people whose prayer vocabulary is filled with ‘God, give me this, give me that’ and nothing like, ‘God, I want to know You more, draw me closer to You.’

If you seek first the Kingdom of God, all the good things of life that the Gentiles struggle for will be added to you. If you seek God for Who He is, He will show you His Hand.

Seeking God because of what He can do for you is like a lady marrying a man because he is rich and not because of who he is.

Beloved, seek God because of Who He is; seek Him from your heart. Let the passion for God drive you to His Presence, rather than what He can do for you.

THE NECESSITY OF PRAYER

SCRIPTURE: ALSO [Jesus] told them a parable to the effect that they ought always to pray and not to turn coward (faint, lose heart, and give up). – Luke 18:1 (AMP)

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Wakefulness in prayer averts surprise attacks from the enemy.

Prayer is key to courage, determination and resilience. Prayerlessness, on the other hand, is the doorway to discouragement and defeat. To fail to pray is to lose heart and give up in the face of battle.

One secret of Elijah, one of the most audacious men in the Old Testament, was prayer. He was able to confront Ahab and Jezebel by the strength of prayer. To fail to pray, therefore, is to become discouraged and dispirited. To fail to pray is to end as a coward in the face of battle.

Prayer wakefulness averts surprise attacks from the enemy. It prevents a person from being taken by surprise by the enemy.

According to Matthew 13:24-25, ‘While men slept, the enemy sowed tares’ (paraphrased). So, prayer averts surprise attack from the enemy; it prevents a life from descending into sudden and inexplicable battles.  It is important to know that life is not a playground but a battle field; it is not funfair but warfare. Whether you are interested in the battle or not, the battle is interested in you. So, it is very crucial to be wakeful in prayer in order to avert surprise attacks by the enemy.

UNDISTRACTED PURSUIT: THE SECRET OF ANSWERED PRAYER

Distraction has been identified as one of the devil’s strategies in robbing us of access to our inheritance in God. satan hinders our prayers from being answered by causing various distractions in life, especially, at the place of prayer.

Blind Bartimaeus showed a good example of how to ignore distractions. When he heard that Jesus was passing by, he began to cry out for mercy. Many people tried to distract him by asking him to shut up, but he refused to be distracted; he shouted the more.

So, one of the ways to receiving answers to prayers from God is by an undistracted desire and pursuit; it is coming to the point where you pursue what you want at the place of prayer, allowing no one to distract you from receiving it. Your prayers are answered when you refuse to listen to any devil, medical report, witch, wizard or the negative opinion of men. THE REPERCUSSION OF DISREGARDING SPIRITUAL AUTHORITY

SCRIPTURE: God setteth the solitary in families: he bringeth out those which are bound with chains: but the rebellious dwell in a dry land. – Psalm 68:6

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: To disregard authority is to live with incurable and regrettable repercussions.

The enemy of every God-given destiny, satan, exists with the mission to ruin the destinies of people. That was how he tried to abort the destiny of Jesus when Jesus was a baby but he failed.

One of the strategies satan uses to ruin people’s destinies today is to make them disregard spiritual authority. For example, when Lot came to the point where he had no regard for Abraham who was the spiritual authority over his life, his destiny began to degenerate. When Absalom came to the point where he decided to rise against his father, who was his physical and spiritual authority, he died in the woods like a mad dog.  Samson had no regard for his parents; nobody could call him to order until he died a tragic death.

Today, disregard for spiritual authority has ruined the destinies of many young men and women. To disregard authority is to live with incurable and regrettable repercussions in life.

THE BASIS FOR ANSWERED PRAYER

SCRIPTURE:  I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name. –Psalm 138:2

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Anything in your life that does not line up with God’s Word should be discarded.

In Jeremiah 33:3, God gave us an open invitation to call upon Him at the place of prayer. Prayer gives us the opportunity to commune with God and make our requests known to Him.

However, many people pray without getting Divine attention or results.
One of the reasons prayer fails to secure Divine attention is that it lacks the ingredient of God’s Word. Effective and impactful prayer must be Word-based.

Our anchor Scripture tells us that God has magnified His Word above His Name. Human beings may play with words but Jehovah does not play with His Words.

THE POWER OF GENEROSITY

OVERVIEW
SCRIPTURE: Let us make a little chamber … and it shall be, when he cometh to us, that he shall turn in thither. – 2 Kings 4:10

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Your generosity can handle your calamity.

In the journey of life and destiny, one of the greatest powers to possess is the power of generosity.

In the Bible, people of great destiny were given to unusual generosity. For example, when you observe the lives of men like Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Job, etc., you will realise that they were highly generous. There can be no great destiny on earth without true generosity. Generosity has also been discovered to be the cure for adversity.

Looking at the woman of Shunem, one product of generosity is clear: through generosity, the reproach of barrenness was terminated in her life.

Your generosity can handle your calamity. Your generosity can also handle your insult and shame.

Some time ago, a lady who had been barren heard a message I preached on generosity and decided to respond to it by taking baby clothes to orphanages as gifts. In response to her generosity, God intervened in her situation and she gave birth to a set of identical twins. Indeed, generosity terminated her reproach.

I prophesy to you; receive the grace to be generous in Jesus’ Name.

THE POWER OF WISDOM

OVERVIEW
SCRIPTURE: But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God. – 1 Corinthians 1:24.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: The closer we get to God, the closer we get to wisdom.

Our anchor scripture portrays wisdom as a personality; the personality of Jesus Christ. This means that the closer we get to God, the closer we get to wisdom. On the other hand, the farther we are from God, the farther we are from wisdom.

Therefore, acting and living independent of God is a confirmation of foolishness (Proverbs 14:1). It is a separation from the Spirit of wisdom.

Now, what are the products of the Spirit of wisdom?
1)The Spirit of wisdom is the Spirit of leadership
2)The Spirit of wisdom is the Spirit that produces skill, expertise and excellence.
3)The Spirit of wisdom is the Spirit of solution provision.
4)The Spirit of wisdom is the Spirit of conquest in battles and conflicts.
5)The Spirit of wisdom is the Spirit of the knowledge of God.

How can one access the Spirit of wisdom?
1)By direct release from God through humility (Proverbs 11:2). Humility commands supernatural mentality.
2)By direct release from God through prayer (James 1:5).
3)By impartation from carriers of the Spirit of wisdom (Deuteronomy 34:9).

Beloved, value your relationship with God and you will operate in wisdom naturally.

Remember this: The closer we get to God, the closer we get to wisdom.

ARMED WITH THE WORD OF GOD

SCRIPTURE: Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. – James 4:7

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Do not wait for problems to arise before looking for the Word of God.

I once heard a story of what a soldier did during the Nigeria Civil War. In the course of the battle, the enemy threw a hand grenade into the camp of soldiers where this particular soldier was. Instead of allowing the grenade to land, explode and kill everyone, he caught it and threw it back at the enemies. The bomb exploded midway and blasted his hand, but everybody in his camp was saved. What a heart!

God’s Word is a Shield that returns arrows to the sender. Just as the soldier threw the grenade back to the enemy, you can load yourself with Word ammunitions in the form of general purpose machine gun bullets and rocket propelled grenades, so that when the devil throws anything at you, you can throw back ten or more Word bullets at him.

Beloved, do not wait for problems to arise before looking for the Word of God. Instead, be loaded with God’s Word ready to explode against the onslaught of the devil. Be armed with God’s Word all the time.

Remember this: Do not wait for problems to arise before looking for the Word of God.

3. Endeavour to listen to messages preached by anointed men of God.

THE DOUBLE IMPACT OF PRAYER

OVERVIEW
SCRIPTURE: And as he prayed, the fashion of his countenance was altered, and his raiment was white and glistering. - Luke 9:29.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Prayer does not only change things; it also changes people.

The importance of prayer in the life of a Christian cannot be over emphasized. Prayer connects man with God’s Presence, Principles and Power for the fulfillment of destiny on earth.

Now, let us look at the double impact of prayer in the life of a prayerful Christian:
1) Prayer changes things.
Negative situations of life are altered at the place of prayer; levels are changed at the place of prayer. So, if you want anything to change in your life, engage in aggressive and brutal prayer.

2) Prayer changes people.
Prayer does not only change things; it also changes people. The act of prayer changes the one who prays. From our anchor scripture, as Jesus prayed, the fashion of His countenance was changed; His garment became white and glistering. The man or woman who prays is changed by his or her prayer.

When a man is changed through prayer, his world also changes. As Jesus’ physical appearance changed, His world also changed; Elijah and Moses appeared to Him and told him of things which He must accomplish at Jerusalem. So, prayer changes a man and a changed man experiences a changed world.

Remember this: Prayer does not only change things; it also changes people.

ASSIGNMENT(S):
1. Engage in aggressive prayer primarily for the sake of relationship and fellowship with God.
2. Ask God, at the place of prayer, to change your life and situation.
3. Resist anything that tampers with your prayer life.
