PURSUIT: THE KEY TO RESTORATION

OVERVIEW
SCRIPTURE: And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you. – Joel 2:25

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Desperate pursuit brings restoration.

The above scripture attests to the fact that we serve a God of restoration. God promised to restore the years the cankerworms had eaten out of our lives. If lost years can be restored, then there is nothing that cannot be recovered when God is involved regardless of the number of years it has been lost.

What, then, is the key to restoration?

Desperate Pursuit
Desperate pursuit is maintaining an unquenchable passion towards achieving or recovering a thing. It is a situation where a person loses a thing but refuses to let it go. Desperate pursuit brings restoration.

An example of desperate pursuit in the scripture was how David pursued a lion and rescued a lamb from its mouth when he was keeping his father’s flock. When the lion tried to fight back, David caught it by the beard, smote it and slew it (1 Samuel 17:34-36). For a fearful person, this feat would have been impossible.

Beloved, it is desperate pursuit that brings restoration. May you receive the spirit, force and frightfulness of David in Jesus’ Name!

TOPIC: KEY THOUGHTS ON PRAYER

SCRIPTURE: Pray without ceasing. – 1 Thessalonians 5:17

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: The art of prayer is learnt at the place of prayer.

Prayer is a basic necessity of life. It is your lifeline and connecting cord to your Source (God) through which your life is transformed for eternity.

If you desire to be anything in life, prayer must become everything in your life.
Prayer has connection with God’s Presence, vision, direction, wisdom, power, preservation, purity and a person’s identity on earth. You cannot be stronger than the strength of your prayer life; your outcome in life is directly proportional to your prayer fire.

Beloved, please take note of the two key thoughts on prayer below:

1. The Art of prayer is learnt at the place of prayer.
If you do not know how to pray, start praying and you will know how to pray. The more you pray, the more you will know how to pray, and the less you pray, the less you will know how to pray.

2.The devil is more intimidated by the strength of your relationship with God than by the frequency of your attendance in church.

Beloved, make up your mind to prioritize prayer above all other things.

THE RESPONSIBILITY FOR GREATNESS

OVERVIEW
SCRIPTURE: I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee. – Luke 15:18.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: To every form of ability, there is a responsibility.

In life, many people claim the promises of God’s word without making conscious effort to take the responsibility that comes with fulfilling God’s purpose. It is not enough to claim prophesies or promises; it is rewarding to have them fulfilled. It is taking responsibility that facilitates the fulfilment of those prophecies or promises.

It has been established that to every form of ability, there is a responsibility.

Beloved, ask yourself the questions below; they will put you on the path of taking responsibility for the fulfilment of your vision or that of your organization.

1. In what way would my assignment contribute to the fulfilment of my vision and that of my organization?

2. Am I working just to make a living or to make a difference?

3. What responsibility can I take or accept in order to see the fulfilment of my vision?

Beloved, ponder on these questions and identify relevant action steps. The secret of fulfilling your vision is taking responsibility. Therefore, take responsibility today in order to be outstanding in life.

Remember this: To every form of ability, there is a responsibility.

OPERATING IN DOMINION

OVERVIEW
SCRIPTURE: And God blessed them, and God said unto them, be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. –Genesis 1:28.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: To exist in dominion means to live life the way you want it and not the way the devil or the circumstances of life want you to live.

The scriptures make it clear that the Kingdom of God is to be dominated by the saints. Existing in the realm of dominion is God’s ultimate agenda for mankind, especially His children.

In order to maximize our heritage of Divine dominion, it is important to have a clear understanding of what it means to operate in dominion.

What does it mean to operate in dominion?
1. It means to have it the way you want it
To exist in dominion means to live life the way you want it and not the way the devil or the circumstances of life want you to live.

2. It means saying it and seeing it
Existing in dominion means existing in the realm where you say things and they come to pass exactly the way you say it (Ezekiel 37:7).

3. It means existing in the realm of absolute indomitability
This is living above defeat or existing in the realm of invincibility. It is a realm where no devil or demonic spirit can dictate the events of your life.

I prophesy that the realm of dominion is your realm from today, in Jesus’ Name.

Remember this: To exist in dominion means to live life the way you want it and not the way the devil or the circumstances of life want you to live.

THE GOD OF RESTORATION

OVERVIEW.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Pressing into God is the key to the restoration of everything that is lost in your life.

It has been confirmed from our anchor scripture that our God is a God of restoration. We serve the God who is a specialist in the restoration of things; He is a specialist in bringing back something hitherto lost to its former owner, place or condition.

Throughout scriptures, cases of restoration abound. For instance, the restoration of the wine that got exhausted during the wedding at Cana in Galilee (John 2:1-10), the restoration of the missing axe head (2 Kings 6:5-6), the restoration of the missing donkeys of Kish, Saul’s father (1 Samuel 9:20), the healing of Naaman’s leprosy (2 Kings 5:14) and the bringing back to life of the Shunamite woman’s child (2 Kings 4:18).

God is still in the business of restoring things; He is ready to restore anything that is lost in your life.

Anything that is lost or missing can be recovered as long as God is involved.
Therefore, pressing into God (in prayer, worship, praise and study of the Word) is the key to the restoration of everything that is lost in your life.

I prophesy the restoration of every lost item in your life today in Jesus’ Name.

THE PATHWAY TO FULFILLING VISION.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Nothing works out until it is worked at

Vision is the ability to x-ray the mind and purpose of God for one’s life. It is the ability to see beyond the immediate to actualize the ultimate.

Now, it is one thing to have a vision, and it is another thing to ensure that it is realized. Vision becomes a mere dream when it is not achieved. To achieve any vision, there is a role to play; there is a responsibility to take.

Responsibility is the state of being accountable to someone or for something. It is the role played by man in the actualization of his vision for life. Being responsible fuels the realization of every vision.

No matter how great our visions are and no matter how wonderful the promises of God to us are, if we do not take the required responsibility, those visions or promises can never be realized or fulfilled.

Suffice it to say, nothing works out until it is worked at. To every promise, there is a premise; to every consignment there is an assignment

Beloved, identify and take responsibility for the fulfilment of your vision.

A CAPITAL DEMAND OF THE COVENANT

OVERVIEW
SCRIPTURE: And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:  – Genesis 12:2

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Anyone who desires to be an accumulator has no future.

What took Abraham from being a nonentity to a generational celebrity was the covenant. The mystery behind the making of other biblical patriarchs like Isaac and Jacob as well as great men in historical and contemporary times like John D. Rockefeller, J.C. Penny, Pastor E. A. Adeboye, Kenneth Hagin of blessed memory, Kenneth Copeland, Bishop David Oyedepo, etc. who marked and are still marking their generation was and still is the reality of the Blessing Covenant.
It is the covenant that guarantees the Blessing.

Now, there are demands of the Blessing covenant. One of these demands is:
Being a blessing to both God and man

This is a capital demand of the Blessing covenant (Genesis 12:2). Living as a giver, a contributor towards the Kingdom and towards humanity is a capital and non-negotiable requirement of the covenant. God blesses people not so that they can become containers, but rather so that they can become distributors.

Anyone who desires to be an accumulator has no future. Prosperity without generosity ends in calamity.

Beloved, make up your mind to be a distributor and you will experience God’s blessing immeasurably.

PRESERVED BY DIVINE FAVOUR

OVERVIEW
SCRIPTURE: For thou, Lord, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield. – Psalms 5:12

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: To have Divine favour is to have life.

Divine favour is the birthright of the righteous. If you are a born again child of God, you do not need to beg to be favoured. You are to exist as a mobile favour.
Now, why is it necessary to be a carrier of Divine favour? Divine favour is a necessity because it guarantees Divine preservation.

From our anchor Scripture, we see that favour is like a shield of defence. In Esther 5:2, we see that according to the custom of the Persian Empire, anyone who visited the king without an invitation was to be put to death, but Queen Esther visited the king uninvited and was preserved. This was because she obtained favour in the sight of the king.

So, favour gives a person the mystery of exemption from destruction.

Also, Psalms 30:5 says “For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life:…
So, to have Divine favour is to have life. A person who carries Divine favour cannot be a victim of untimely death.

I prophesy to you, by Divine favour, no devil shall cut your life short before your time, in Jesus’ Name.

ABSOLUTE PEACE IN GOD’S VOICE

OVERVIEW
SCRIPTURE: I will hear what God the Lord will speak: for he will speak peace unto his people, and to his saints:… – Psalms 85:8

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Contact with the Word of God is contact with His Voice.

The Voice of the Lord is the secret of peace. This fact is evident from our anchor scripture. Inside God’s Voice is peace.

When we are connected to God’s Voice, we are connected to absolute tranquillity. On the other hand, the absence of God’s Voice is the presence of anxiety.

The Voice of God is accessible by keys, and one of the keys is meditating on the Word of God. Psalms 29:3 says, “The Voice of the Lord is upon the waters...” Ephesians 5:26 says, 'That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word.' That is, the Word of the Lord is the waters. So, contact with the Word of God is contact with His Voice.

It is critical to know that seeking the Voice of God outside the Word of God is dangerous. Many people have received direction from hell while seeking the Voice of God because they were empty of the Word of God. Any man that is loaded with God’s Word will eventually be connected to His Voice.

I see Divine direction come to you today as you meditate on God’s Word, in Jesus’ Name.

Remember this: contact with the Word of God is contact with His Voice.

PRESERVED BY THE ANOINTING

SCRIPTURE: He suffered no man to do them wrong: yea, he reproved kings for their sakes; Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm. – Psalms 105:14-15

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: An anointed person is too defended to be defeated.

Sometime ago, I read a story about the Middle East shepherds, especially in Bible days. From that story, I discovered that those shepherds used to anoint the bodies of their sheep with olive oil, and by so doing, flies and other insects were kept at bay. That way, the insects could not feed on or destroy the bodies of the sheep.
As it is in the physical, so it is in the spiritual. It is important to know that the Anointing of the Holy Ghost carries unusual preservation power.

The Anointing of the Holy Ghost has the capacity to keep satanic afflictions away from God’s children. The Anointing preserves by placing upon a person the seal of Divine Presence that averts evil. It makes a person’s spirit impregnable and fire-full.

Now, let us look at one of the keys to the Anointing:

The Presence of God
The Anointing is the Presence of God and the Presence of God is the Anointing (Acts 10:38).

Therefore, beloved, press into the Presence of God in prayer, praise and worship, and you will come to the point where accessing the anointing is effortless.

Remember this: an Anointed person is too defended to be defeated.

Seeds of destiny

REVELATION - A KEY TO RESTORATION

OVERVIEW
SCRIPTURE: And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you. – Joel 2:25

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Whatever is lost exists somewhere.

Our God is a God of restoration. Our anchor scripture aptly confirms this fact. God is interested in the restoration of anything that is lost in our lives. That is why He promised to restore everything that has been stolen by the devil.

Therefore, I prophesy the restoration of anything that has been stolen by the devil in your life; today, they are restored in Jesus’ Name

It is important to note that nothing is too lost to be found if God is involved. Anything that is lost can be recovered as long as God is involved because whatever is lost exists somewhere.

A major key to restoration is Scriptural Revelation or light. Psalm 119:105 says, “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, a light unto my path.” Where there is Light (Revelation), there is no hiding place for anything.

So, there is the need to search the Scriptures and identify light that will guarantee the recovery of what you are looking for.

Now, I decree upon your life that whatever the devil took from you shall be recovered in Jesus’ Name.

Remember this: whatever is lost exists somewhere.

ASSIGNMENT (S):
1. Ask God to restore whatever is lost in your life.

2. Search the scripture daily to identify light that will confront the darkness around your life and deliver what was lost into your hands.

THE PRESENCE OF GOD – THE ADDRESS OF


OVERVIEW
SCRIPTURE: And by thy sword shalt thou live, and shalt serve thy brother; and it shall come to pass when thou shalt have the dominion, that thou shalt break his yoke from off thy neck. – Genesis 27:40

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: To be planted in God’s Presence is to be planted in dominion.

Dominion is existence in the realm of triumph and victory. So, to be in dominion is to be a stranger to defeat because dominion gives a person the power to exert control over his territory.

From the passage above, we see that when a person has dominion, he gains the capacity to break every yoke off his neck. On the contrary, when a person lacks dominion, he becomes a victim of oppression.

Let us look at one of the keys to dominion

Establishment in God’s Presence: In 1 Kings 17:1, the Bible says,… As the LORD God of Israel liveth, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, but according to my word.

So, to be planted in God’s Presence is to be planted in dominion.

The Presence of God is the venue of dominion (Job 25:2). The Presence of God with a man makes him an authority. So, anyone who carries Divine Presence walks in dominion.

As you determine to consistently dwell in God’s Presence, I prophesy your dominion and victory over every enemy of your life, in Jesus’ Name.

Remember this: to be planted in God’s Presence is to be planted in dominion.

1. Consistently maintain an atmosphere of God’s Presence by living a life of worship.

YOUR PASSION AND DIVINE DIRECTION

OVERVIEW
SCRIPTURE: Delight thyself also in the Lord; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. – Psalm 37:4

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Where there is no direction, stagnation and frustration are inevitable.

It is an established fact that where there is no direction, stagnation and frustration are inevitable.
While we were growing up spiritually, there was a fire-brand brother who wanted to go into ministry. He felt that the best place for him to start the ministry was Lagos state, Nigeria. So, he went to Lagos and started a ministry. After a while, he closed down the ministry in Lagos and later relocated to Port Harcourt to start afresh. In Port Harcourt, it still did not work, so he moved to Abuja within a short period of time. You know, all these happened as a result of lack of direction from God.

Beloved, life is too precious to gamble with. Many people have gambled into marriage and gambled out because they had no time to seek the Will of God for their lives.

Beloved, one of the easiest ways to know the Will of God is to be passionate for God; convince God that you are not ready to make a move until you have heard from Him. When you are at this point, God will put His desires in your heart.

Remember this: where there is no direction, stagnation and frustration are inevitable.

ASSIGNMENT(S):
1. Insist on the Will of God for your life; never take a step without God’s direction.

GENEROSITY- THE PATHWAY TO THE BLESSING COVENANT

OVERVIEW
SCRIPTURE: And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry. But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided? – Luke 12:19-20

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Receiving without releasing is dying without knowing.

From our anchor Scripture, we see that it is foolishness to have prosperity without generosity. We also see that refusal to be a distributor qualifies a man for destruction. When a person has decided to store up things for himself alone, he has positioned himself for destruction; he is not qualified to walk in the Blessing Covenant.

Receiving without releasing is dying without knowing. When a man takes in oxygen and refuses to release carbon dioxide, he is preparing to be wheeled to the mortuary.

So, releasing is the purpose of receiving. Before a person can walk in the Blessing Covenant, he must be ready to give towards Kingdom projects and the benefit of humanity.

Now, why does the covenant walk with God demand giving?
1.To break the grip of mammon over the life of the blessed. There are many rich people who are slaves to their money because they are unable to give. Generosity breaks the back of covetousness.

2.To confirm that our faith is not in our resources but in God, our Supplier (Psalm 23:1-2). Anyone who has faith in money does not give out money.

Remember this: receiving without releasing is dying without knowing.

ASSIGNMENT(S):
1. Determine to be a privileged giver towards Kingdom projects, evangelism etc.
2. Put smiles on the faces of the less privileged, orphans and widows.

YOUR CHARACTER AND YOUR FUTURE

OVERVIEW
SCRIPTURE: Reuben, thou art my firstborn, my might, and the beginning of my strength, the excellency of dignity, and the excellency of power: Unstable as water, thou shalt not excel; because thou wentest up to thy father’s bed; then defiledst thou it: he went up to my couch. – Genesis 49:3-4

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: A man without character cannot be outstanding in life.

In Genesis 35:22, the Scripture tells the story of Reuben, the first son of Jacob who defiled his father’s bed by having an immoral relationship with his father’s concubine. This action of Reuben brought him under an irrecoverable curse by his father.

Consequently, though Reuben was the firstborn son, he lost his birthright as a result of character bankruptcy.
A life without positive character is a life that is cursed. One of the greatest challenges that can happen to anybody is to exist without character. To exist without character is to exist naturally under the curse.

When character is lost, dignity is lost. This implies that a man without character cannot be outstanding in life. He loses his dignity on earth and loses respect in eternity.

There are people today with great potentials without character and so, they end in frustration.

Beloved, your character is the greatest determinant of your destiny. Who you are determines what you can become. To matter, you need manners. So, watch your character so as to attain your highest height in life.

Remember this: A man without character cannot be outstanding in life.

GOD’S PROMISE FOR AUTHORITY AND EXCELLENCE

SCRIPTURE: And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion…So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. – Genesis 1:26-27

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: We lie against God if we claim to belong to Him while we are failures.

Without a doubt, our God is a great God. He is the headquarters for dominion and authority; an embodiment of excellence. God naturally lives in the realm of supremacy.

It is the Will and Plan of God for us to excel and be in authority. Excellence and authority are in the genetics of God.

This implies that anything that proceeds from God, including man, has no choice but to manifest authority, dominion, and excellence.

The Bible says in 1 John 4:4 that you are an overcomer because God lives in you.
Therefore, if God is your Father, mediocrity equals iniquity and an abomination. Existence below average is a transgression. Living like a beggar, looking pitiable and frustrated is an abomination of association with the Almighty. We lie against God if we claim to belong to Him while we are failures.

I decree today that you will exist at the highest realm that God has destined you to be. You will not pass through this world unnoticed in Jesus’ Name.

MANTLES THROUGH PRAYER

OVERVIEW
SCRIPTURE: The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. – James 5:16b

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: To be prayer-less is to be mantle-less.

A mantle is everything a person needs in order to succeed in life’s assignment. It was the secret of Elisha (2 Kings 2:9-13). The mantle is needed to successfully handle the future.

A mantle is attained at the place of passionate, sincere and genuine prayer (James 5:16).

Now, there are four components of a mantle that can be attained at the place of prayer.

1. Grace: The Throne of prayer is the Throne of grace. It is at the place of prayer that we can connect the grace of God (Hebrews 4:16).
2. Fresh oil: The place of prayer is the place of fresh Oil (Zechariah 4:12-14). To stand in the Presence of God is to connect and transmit the Oil.
3. Power: You connect power at the place of prayer (Acts 4:33).
4. Strength: The strength of man is renewed at the place of prayer.

Beloved, to be prayerless is to be mantleless, graceless and oil-less. That shall not be your portion in Jesus’ Name.

Remember this: To be prayerless is to be mantleless.

PRAYER AND THANKSGIVING

OVERVIEW
SCRIPTURE: Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. - Philippians 4:6

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: It is when you render your appreciation to God that your supplication is complete.

Our Lord Jesus taught us how to pray in the book of Matthew 6:9-13. He made us understand that supplication is not complete without appreciation.

From our anchor scripture, we are admonished to render our prayer and supplication with thanksgiving.

A thankless prayer is a useless prayer; it is like a meatless bone. Thanksgiving is fertilizer; what fertilizer does to a farmland is what thanksgiving does to man. So, it is very critical that our prayers be irrigated and fertilized with thanksgiving so it can be productive.

What do we focus our thanksgiving on?
1.We focus on Who God is and not just on what He can do (Psalm 136:1-2).

2.We focus our thanksgiving on our rescue by God from destruction. Every time God rescues you from destruction is an occasion for thanksgiving (Psalm 103:1-4).

Beloved, God is about to bless you beyond your wildest imagination. He is about to take you to a point where people will testify of His goodness in your life. Appreciate Him now so you can experience the completion of what He has started in your life.

Remember this: It is when you render your appreciation to God that your supplication is complete.

THE DIVIDENDS OF WISDOM

SCRIPTURE: If the iron be blunt, and he do not whet the edge, then must he put to more strength: but wisdom is profitable to direct. – Ecclesiastes 10:10

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: The absence of wisdom is the abundance of losses.

Wisdom is supernatural access to Divine strategies. It is the secret of success and progress in life. It is the ability to apply relevant knowledge in an insightful way, especially to different situations.

The secret behind the making of most people who walked with God and were outstanding in their generations was wisdom.

Wisdom is a critical requirement for a profitable life in time and in eternity. It is not possible to experience a profitable life without wisdom. So, the absence of wisdom is the abundance of losses, including the loss of souls in eternity in hell fire.

Wisdom is also the mystery behind outstanding results in every realm of life. Ecclesiastes 8:1 reveals that wisdom is the secret behind the shining of man. Therefore, if you want to be outstanding in every area of life, you need the wisdom of God.

Now, how can you access wisdom from God?

The Bible reveals that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom (Proverbs 9:10). Therefore, where the fear of the Lord is lacking, access to the wisdom of God is denied.

Receive the wisdom to excel in Jesus’ Name.

Remember this: The absence of wisdom is the abundance of losses.

2. Abstain from sin in order to access the wisdom of God.

ACCESSING THE HELP OF GOD

SCRIPTURE: I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth. – Psalms 121:1-2

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: The Help of God is reliable, dependable and durable.

Our God is a God who has the capacity to help or hinder, assist or resist anyone.

When you are a candidate for God’s Help, you can never be helpless because His Help is superior to the help of man. This implies that the Help of God is reliable, dependable and durable. When you have the Help of God, you can literally go to sleep because the sustainability of that Help is guaranteed.

What then are the products of God’s Help?

1. It is the antidote to the fears of life:
Whatever you fear can be tackled by God’s Help. The Help of God is the reason your fears will not consume you.

2. It is key to deliverance from danger and battle:
It is the shield of the Help of God that makes you tread upon your enemies (Deuteronomy 33:29)

3. It is the doorway to supply and sustenance:
The Help of God arrests shortage and scarcity. If you are a beneficiary of the Help of God, especially when you are consistent with your covenant practices, you are not permitted to experience dryness, shortage or scarcity in life.

Remember this: The Help of God is reliable, dependable and durable.

1. Make demands on the Help of God at all times.
2. Be consistent in your covenant practices so as to be connected to the Help of God always.

TRUTH – THE CURRENCY OF FREEDOM

OVERVIEW
SCRIPTURE:  And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. – John 8:32

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: It is crookedness that sets the pace for calamity in life. Behind many struggles in life, crookedness is at work

Truth is the state of being sincere and honest.

Truth is key to gaining freedom in life. To avoid the truth is to end in a trap. There can be no freedom where there is dishonesty and unreality. It is crookedness that sets the pace for calamity in life.

Behind many struggles in life, crookedness is at work. For instance, as long as Jacob lived a life of falsehood, he kept sweating and struggling. But when he encountered God and the false identity was changed, his freedom came and his destiny opened up (Genesis 32:27-28).

Some time ago, a lady brought her credentials for prayers so she could get a job. As I was about to pray, I noticed that the age on the Curriculum Vitae conflicted with her looks. So, I asked her if that was her real age. She said, ‘No!’ She said she was told to reduce her age if she must get a job.

Imagine that, she wanted me to pray to the God of truth to bless a lie.

Beloved, you can never prevail in freedom until you wholeheartedly embrace truth.

Remember this: It is crookedness that sets the pace for calamity in life. Behind many struggles in life, crookedness is at work

THE NECESSITY OF WISDOM

OVERVIEW
SCRIPTURE:   Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore, in all thy getting, get wisdom…– Proverbs 4:7

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: If a person’s life must be meaningful, then, he must be wisdom-full

It is established that wisdom is not a luxury; it is an essential commodity of life.  If a person’s life must be meaningful, then, he must be wisdom-full.

To exist without wisdom is to be buried in stagnation and frustration.  The truth is, anyone who is not ready to be wise is not ready to rise. If you are not ready for wisdom, you are not ready for stardom. So, wisdom is the guarantee of life and destiny fulfilment.

There are different kinds of wisdom. There is the wisdom that guarantees authority. There is also the wisdom for the family as well as the wisdom for acquiring and managing resources etc.

The truth is, there is something you can do to make your case different from others. When men are cast down, there is a lifting up for a person in possession of the wisdom of God. For instance, the same flood that sank the world lifted Noah. While men were sinking, he was rising (Genesis 7:1-10).
Beloved, you may lose anything in life but never lose grip of wisdom; it is a major tool for your destiny fulfilment and advancement.

Remember this: If a person’s life must be meaningful, then, he must be wisdom-full.

ASSIGNMENT(S):
1. Disassociate yourself from unwise company and cleave to the company of the wise.
2. Live in the Presence of God and ask God for the impartation of wisdom.

LOCATING YOUR LIFE’S BEARING

OVERVIEW
SCRIPTURE:  Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. – John 14:6.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: To live without Christ is to be forever lost in time and eternity.

A story was told of how a little boy got missing. He was later found by the police and they asked him where his house was so they could take him home. Unfortunately, the boy could not locate his house anymore. They also asked him the name of his father and he said that his father’s name was Daddy. The police said, “Okay, what is the name of your mother?” He said; “Mummy.” What a challenge!

Wondering what to do with the boy, they further asked him if he could remember any landmark close to his house. He told them that there was a big church that was painted white, close to his house. On the roof of the church building was a big white cross. He said, “Take me to that cross and I will find my way home” Incredible!

That cross became a bearing to his house.

Beloved, the most important aspect of any man’s life is his spiritual life. You can locate your bearing in life if your spiritual bearing is right. To live without Christ is to be forever lost in time and eternity.

INSTRUCTION – AN ANTIDOTE TO FRUSTRATION

OVERVIEW
SCRIPTURE: He who scorns instruction will pay for it, but he who respects a command is rewarded. – Proverbs 13:13

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Instruction arms a person against frustration. If you cannot be instructed, you cannot be assisted..

Instruction simply means detailed information on how something should be done.

It is instruction that prevents frustration and failure in life and destiny. At times, people fail examinations not necessarily because of their ignorance of the answer but because of their failure to follow the instructions of the examination. Instruction arms a person against frustration and destruction. That is why it is said, ‘To be forewarned is to be forearmed’

Obedience to Divine instructions has the potency of delivering a person from aimless existence. Moses would have continued wandering through life but for the Divine instruction he received from God to return to Egypt and sink the Pharaoh he fled from (Exodus 3:10).

There are many children of God today who are frustrated and stagnated on the frequency of their bankruptcy of obedience to Divine instructions.
It is not the knowing of instruction that produces result but the obedience of same. Those who know what to do and do what they know shift in levels.

I prophesy to you the grace to obey instructions that will change your levels in Jesus’ Name.

Remember this: Instruction arms a person against frustration. If you cannot be instructed, you cannot be assisted.

ASSIGNMENT(S):
1. Locate a mentor with positive character and principles in the areas of your interest that can guide you through in those areas.
2. Determine to be humble to learn; never be too big to learn.

ARISE AND TAKE YOUR POSSESSION

OVERVIEW
SCRIPTURE:  Rise ye up, take your journey, and pass over the river Arnon: behold, I have given into thine hand Sihon the Amorite, king of Heshbon, and his land: begin to possess it, and contend with him in battle. – Deuteronomy 2:24

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Those who cannot dare it cannot take it.

Life is a battle field and not a playground. So, in order to possess your possession, you must deliberately, decisively and aggressively rise up and TAKE IT.

To move, you must rise. There can be no advancement in life without a rising up. One of the major strategies of the enemy is to confine the people of God to inaction. The devil desires that the children of God exist in the realm of timidity and cowardice. But you must refuse to be resisted and confronted into inaction and stagnation.

Never let any confrontation of the enemy stop your acceleration in life. Never let the enemy determine how you live your life. Despite the challenges and the battles of life, arise and take your possession in God.

I prophesy to you: in case the devil has confined you to a sitting position or turned you into a timid person; TODAY, the ‘lion’ inside of you shall roar out. The person in you shall come out. The real ‘you’ shall emerge and you shall fulfil your destiny in Jesus’ Name.

TEARS IN THE EYES OF GOD

OVERVIEW
SCRIPTURE:  Jesus wept. – John 11:35

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Repent and be saved in order to be safe in time and eternity.

Dr. Morris Cerrulo recounted an experience he had when he travelled to Haiti, a country infested with voodoo worship. As he went to a kiosk to buy a bottle of Coca Cola drink, he asked the dealer if he had heard of Jesus Christ.  To his amazement, the man replied, ‘What is Jesus, is it another brand of soft drink?’ What a tragedy!

Dr. Cerrulo said he dropped the Coca Cola bottle and began to weep. How can a mere brand of soft drink be more popular than the Saviour of the whole world? It is like someone who owns a house and is not recognized in the house.

Beloved, there are a lot of tears in the eyes of Jesus because millions of people in the world today have not yet known Him as their Lord and Saviour, and are on their way to an endless eternity in hell.

When you live a sinful life of cheating, immorality, gossip, smoking/drinking, lies, seduction etc. you make God weep because you are on the path of damnation. Repent and be saved in order to be safe in time and in eternity.

Remember this: Repent and be saved in order to be safe in time and in eternity.

2. Take a sober reflection on your character
3. Repent of any compromising character in your life that makes God weep.

WHY AM I HERE?

OVERVIEW
SCRIPTURE: …is there not a cause?– 1 Samuel 17:29

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Everyone on earth has a mission from God to accomplish. Until we accomplish that mission, life would be meaningless.

On this first day of this eighth month of 2016, which is symbolically the month of a new beginning, I prophesy upon you the beginner’s and finisher’s anointing. You shall shift levels this season in Jesus’ Name.

From our anchor scripture, David lamented thus, “…is there not a cause?” These are the questions everyone should ask themselves daily: “Is there no reason for my life? Why me? Why am I here? Why was I created? Why am I on earth? What is the reason for my existence? What is my mission on earth?”

Beloved, until you answer these questions correctly, it is possible you have been wasting your life on earth. Everyone on earth has a mission from God to accomplish.  Until we accomplish that mission, life would be meaningless. The reason many people see little or no result in life is because they channel their energy in the wrong direction.

My counsel is, in order not to end your journey on earth in regrets, you have to discover what you have been designed by God to do. That way, you can benefit humanity and glorify Divinity.

Remember this:  Everyone on earth has a mission from God to accomplish.  Until we accomplish that mission, life would be meaningless.

ASSIGNMENT (S):
1. Go to God in prayer to discover what you have been created for if you have not yet discovered your life’s purpose.
2. Brutally deploy your energy towards the fulfillment of your calling.
